Gros Morne Expedition
The Northern Traverse and Long Range Traverse will be a demanding 63 kilometer trek in the remote backcountry of Gros Morne National Park. There are no marked trails on this hike, hikers will rely on GPS navigation and backcountry skills. Intrepid souls who tackle this challenge are richly rewarded.

ADDITIONAL COSTS:
- All participants are recommended to purchase travel and medical insurance before departure
- You will be responsible for your own meals on & off trail. At the lodging, there are nearby restaurants available within walking distance, or you may choose to utilize a local market and the kitchen area at the hostel (trail breakfast and dinners can be purchased from NAC).
- On trail, you will need breakfast, lunch and dinners as well as snacks. These will be prepared before travel and brought on flight.
- Other additional costs associated with travel (i.e. shopping, souvenirs, etc.)
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/NOTES:
This is an completely primitive expedition. We will be submersed deep in the backcounty with only basic gear and our skills to survive.
REQUIRED CLOTHING, REQUIRED GEAR, OPTIONAL GEAR, REQUIRED FOOD:
Proper clothing for this type of trip and proper backpacking gear is a must! Some gear may be rented. Aid in selecting the proper gear is available.
