Come join us for a beautiful winter hike as we traverse the Bruce Trail through the county of Lincoln, Ontario. Along the way we will visit numerous waterfalls and explore the shores of flowing rivers and streams.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/NOTES: Extremely cold temperatures can be very hazardous if one is not prepared. There will be a high wind chill and heavy winds. It will be important to cover up bare skin and block wind with windproof clothing. Please ensure that you read all information below and have all the required equipment.

REQUIRED CLOTHING: (No Cotton)

200 weight Merino Wool or Wool Baselayer Pant

Soft Shell Hiking Pant or Hiking Pant w/ Shell Outerpants (Rainpants work)

200 weight Merino Wool or Wool Baselayer Shirt

Long Sleeve Hiking Shirt

Fleece or Wool Sweater

Windproof/Waterproof Jacket (preferably Gore-tex)

Hiking Socks

Hiking Boots

Touque/Ear Band (something to keep your ears warm)

Facecovering (Buff, fleece neck gaitor, scarf)

Light Gloves

Heavy Outer Gloves

REQUIRED GEAR:

Proper fitting backpack (28L - 32L) w/ Rain Cover

1.5 L of water per person (minimum)

Trail Snacks and Non-Cook lunch

Packable Down Jacket (Puffy Jacket with Hood)

Extra Warm Clothing 

Extra pair of socks

Chapstick

Headlamp/Flashlight

Pocket Knife / Multitool
