ACCOMODATION:

  • 1 Night at KOA Owen Sound Campground

  • 1 Night at Harrison Park Campground


TAXI:

  • Trail Head to Trail Head Taxi Service


GUIDE:

  • Camp fuel on trail

  • Water Filtration on trail

  • Firewood at camp sites

  • Access to First Aid

  • Access to Emergency Equipment

  • Access to Satellite Communications

NOT INCLUDED:

MEALS:

  • Meals on or off trail are not included. Backpacking Meals, Lunches, Breakfasts and Snacks are the responsibility of the participant. 


TRANSPORTATION:

  • Transportation to and from the event is not provided. Participants will be required to meet at designated meeting point. (carpooling is encouraged)


EQUIPMENT or APPAREL:

  • Participants are required to provide their own backpacking equipment and apparel. Arrangements can be made for some shared equipment and/or rentals.

What Will You Be Doing?

Friday, May 29, 2026:
The Group will meet at Mc Donald's in Owen Sound, ON for a quick breakfast and bathroom break. After which we will continue down the road to our parking area. Here we will leave our vehicles and prepare for our taxi which will then transport us to the beginning of our three day journey. On this day we will need to complete 10kms of hiking to arrive at KOA Owen Sound Campgrounds where we will set up camp and have access to hot showers and many other amenities. After dinner and some relaxing time around the fire, the group will retire to our tents for a good nights sleep under a star filled sky.

Saturday, May 30, 2026:
We will wake to the sunrise and begin to make breakfast. After breakfast, it will be time to pack up camp and head back out onto the Bruce Trail to begin our 11km day. We will make our way along and through the Limestone of the Niagara Escarpment, travelling deep into crevasses and through tunnels and caves. Once we arrive at Inglis Falls Conservation Area, we will use a Bruce Trail side trail to reach Harrison Park where we will set up camp for the night. You may choose to get in a hot shower, or just explore the park and all it's amenities. After a hot meal and exploring the site, we will relax again under the stars for a well deserved night's sleep. 

Sunday, May 31, 2026:
As the sun hits our tents, we will wake to begin breakfast and break camp. After cleaning up dishes and packing everything away, we will begin our final day on the trail. On this day we will complete a very scenic 12km hike. After making our way back to the main trail we will reach one of Ontario's most majestic waterfalls, Inglis Fals. We will spend some time exploring the waterfall and surrounding area before continueing on. After a short while we will arrive at Jones Falls, another of Ontario's beautiful waterfalls. Shortly after exploring Jone's Falls, we will make our way a short distance to the end of our hike and the completion of our three day adventure.
