Winter brings snow and ice, and with that comes many more slippery and dangerous trail conditions. To combat this, most hikers carry various traction devices that are placed on hiking boots or trail running shoes and give a level of traction you could not get any other way. Well, this is it, this is the last Adventure Bi-Weekly of 2024! It's been a pretty good year, we had quite a few adventures over the past year. In 2024, NAC completed;

1 Kayaking Multiday Trip in the Georgian Bay

2 Festival of Lights Walks
1 Outdoor Adventure Show
1 Banf Film Festival
27 Events in total. Financially, NAC finished off the year in the red, but it wasn't that bad and more than worth it for the many amazing events and experiences I was able to share with so many of you.
We have one last event scheduled for 2024, our ever popular annual Festival of Lights Walk will take place on December 27th at 5:30 pm. Make sure you register and join us as we walk along the Niagara Parkway to enjoy the many amazing Light Displays as well as the astounding Niagara Falls lit up in majestic colours.
The first events of 2025 are planned and open to registration on our events page! We will start the year with some indoor rock climbing and a beautiful hike in the Waterdown area. Jump onto the events page and register for those events now.
