SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate (Moderately Challenging)
DURATION: 9 Days
FULL TRAIL DISTANCE: 80kms (+/-2.0km)
AGE: 18+

ADDITIONAL COSTS:
- All participants are required to purchase travel and medical insurance before departure and present proof of insurance before departing. Failure to do so will result in removal from the expedition without refund.
- You will be responsible for your own meals on & off trail. At the lodging, there are nearby restaurants available within walking distance, or you may choose to go to the supermarket that is also within walking distance. Food is very expensive in Iceland due to that most food is imported. Trail Meals wil be purchased in Canada and packed in your checked bag before departure (trail breakfast and dinners can be purchased from NAC).
- On trail, you will need breakfast, lunch and dinners as well as snacks. It is best that you prepare these before hand and bring them to Iceland with you (some snacks can be purchased at the camp areas from the Camp Wardens).
- Other additional costs associated with travel (i.e. shopping, souvenirs, etc.)
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/NOTES:
This is an international expedition. We will be travelling to another country. Make sure your travel documents are up to date.
REQUIRED CLOTHING, REQUIRED GEAR, OPTIONAL GEAR, REQUIRED FOOD:
Proper clothing for this type of trip and proper backpacking gear is a must! Some gear may be rented. Aid in selecting the proper gear is available.
This will be discussed in detail and sent via email to all participants.
