General Brock Side Trail

The General Brock Side Trail begins at the Southern Cairn of the Bruce Trail and follows along the Niagara Parkway and into Niagara-on-the-Lake, ending at the Fort George Barracks. This trail travels mainly on paved sidewalks and gravel paths making it an awesome 12km day hike for beginners!

ACTIVITY: NON-GUIDED E2E Day Hike

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner

DURATION: Approx. 4.5 hours +/- 1.5hrs

FULL DISTANCE: 12.4kms (+/-2.0km)

EARLY OUT DISTANCE: N/A (Trail runs along side of roads for taxi exit if needed)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Thursday, September 15th @ 5:00pm

AGE: 14+

DOGS: This is an E2E Hike, therefore if you plan to bring your four legged companion you will need to bring two vehicles, one for each end of the hike.

This trail is mainly paved with only a few very short sections on dirt and grass. 

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/NOTES:

This hike will contain approx. >12.0 kms of road/sidewalk work. Most of the trail is on paved path.
