During the 2020 Pandenmic, many of us have found it very difficult to get our excercise. Combine that with boredom eating, and like me, I am almost sure everyone has added on a few pounds.
So, how do we keep fit and keep up our stamin without the benefits of gym equipment or trails to hike on?
Well luckily, Backpacker Magazine has figured out a sure fire way to make sure you are fit and ready to hit the trails again.
Take a look at the article, and make sure you book mark it!

Hello everyone,
It's another beautiful week, and the weather promises to be spectacular. I am creating this newsletter on a Friday, as tomorrow (Saturday, June 20th) Niagara Adventure Club will be hosting it's first day hike in over 3 months! I am very much looking forward to this hike. We have over 15 people registered to attend, and the location is stunning. It's been a bit of a challenge to plan, as areas open and reclose, and making sure that we have protocols in place to keep everyone safe, but at the same time allowing them to truly enjoy the hike. Protocols have been implemented, that will divide the group into smaller groups, and each group will maintain physical distancing guidelines. Two way radios will be utilized to maintain communications within the group. I can't wait to see everyone, and wave from a safe distance! Some of you may have noticed, NAC has reduced prices on all climbing lessons. Climbing has always been a passion of mine. Unfortunately, life and the lack of climbing partners has limited my ability to climb over the past 2 years. So, in hopes of getting more people out there to experience the incredible value of climbing, I have cut all climbing course prices by just over 35%! For more information, or to register for a class, visit the Courses area of the NAC Website by clicking this link! I'd like to introduce a good friend, and an awesome hiking club based out of the Guelph Area. Stride & Stretch, operated by Rhonda McMahon is an awesome club, that combines hiking with Yoga and Meditation. Like Niagara Adventure Club, Rhonda organizes day hikes, as well as some very incredible retreats. Her upcoming retreat looks incredible, to the point that I am very upset that I can't attend. She is offering a trip to the Temagami Wilderness that includes a charter flight, lodging, amazing meals, 8 waterfalls, hiking experieces, canoeing, tubing, yoga and meditation, and so much more all at a great price. Her retreat is sceduled for the September 28th. If I were you, I would definitely take a look and reserve my spot! Click here for full details, Wild Temagami Fall Retreat. I have added a two new day hikes to the event calendar. As I am currently still out of work, I am running the hikes weekly, instead of the normal bi-weekly schedule up until we depart for the Iceland trip. Check out the upcoming events below for more information. I think that's enough for this weeks newsletter. As always, feel free to reply to this email with any comments or suggestions you may have. Stay safe, Lenny Burch Niagara Adventure Club
